DPC partner Donka Stoyanova was one of the national rapporteurs for Bulgaria at the XXIX  congress of the International Federation of European Law (FIDE), held on 3-6  November in the Hague. She contributed to the Bulgarian chapter on the topic of EU Competition Law and  Digital Economy. Donka's detailed review on the Bulgarian competition authority’s caselaw and practice in defining multisided markets was very well-received and cited in the General Report for EU Competition Law and Digital Economy.

The event was  honoured by the presidents of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the General Court of the European Union, the European Chief Prosecutor, as well as by most of the Bulgarian justices working at the EU courts and the members of their cabinets. The FIDE  presidency for the next biennium was handed over to the Bulgarian branch of the federation and will culminate with the prestigious hosting of the FIDE XXX Congress in May 2023, when over 500 leading lawyers from across the European Union are expected to be welcomed in Sofia.
