Sofia is an associate with academic knowledge, talents and hands-on skills promising a bright future in the legal profession

Sofia joined DPC as a summer trainee gaining some valuable practical experience in parallel with her studies. For the last two years, she has been providing high-quality support to our IP, healthcare and life sciences and dispute resolution teams resulting in her promotion to а legal assistant.

During her studies, Sofia achieved outstanding results in a number of law competitions. Together with her team from Sofia University, she made а historic success by winning the 29th edition of the largest competition in international commercial arbitration Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, competing with 365 teams from 84 countries.

Part of the team that advised a local start up on a contract for the development of software for the collection and processing of biometric data
Assisting the IP and Healthcare & Life Sciences teams in monitoring trademarks and tracking new developments in the pharmaceutical sector
Assisting the Dispute resolution team in researching different legal matters and preparing procedural documents in various court proceedings
