Yana Georgieva

Yana is a co-head of our Intellectual Property and Healthcare & Life Sciences practice groups. Her current practice in focused mainly on these two areas, but she is also adept in digital & technologies, competition, and commercial law. Since 2015, she has been advising clients operating in various industries including banking, finance, pharma, energy, technology, media, and consumer goods.

Yana provides ongoing legal support to clients regarding the management of trademark portfolios and trademark prosecution, monitoring, protecting and enforcing trademark rights on the territory of the EU, border measures, as well as domain registration and disputes. She is a key member of the team providing legal support to Johnson & Johnson in connection with their activities in Bulgaria including on regulatory, competition and intellectual property matters, unfair advertising practices, promotion of medicinal products, consumer protection, etc.
