Andreas Petkov is a legal assistant at DPC., supporting the firm with legal research, drafting, and client correspondence mostly in the areas of IP, technology law and data privacy. He is particularly involved in preparing legal opinions and client alerts on newly implemented EU legislation.

Prior to joining DPC, Andreas gained experience as a summer trainee in a couple of local law firms, where he worked on trademark applications and M&A documentation. His academic background includes an LLB in European and Comparative Law from Maastricht University, and in 2025 he is completing an LLM at Sofia University“St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Andreas is actively involved in youth policy and international law initiatives. He serves as Vice President of the National Youth Forum of Bulgaria and as an Agent of the Council of Europe’s North-South Centre. His previous roles include Juridical Commissioner for Association des États Généraux des Étudiants del'Europe (AEGEE-Europe) and Financial Director of AEGEE-Sofia.

Andreas is fluent in English, with working knowledge of French and Serbian. He brings a broad international perspective to his work, combining legal acumen with a strong commitment to civic engagement and European cooperation.
